What a catch: In April Lukas Gaiser from Austria joined the Bloomhaus team. He is currently studying Economics in his penultimate semester at the HSG in St. Gallen. His focus is on finance, financial economics and data science. In his spare time he likes all sorts of sports like powerlifting, kitesurfing, bungee jumping and Brazilian jiu-jitsu. What's more he is also a big movie enthusiast and enjoys studying politics and philosophy. 5 questions to Lukas:
Lukas, What are your passions when it comes to start-ups?
I am especially passionate about exploring new technologies as well as working closely with the founders and learning from them along the way.
What's your superpower that can help startups succeed?
Personally, I believe that one of my strengths is asking the right questions at the right time which helps to uncover things about the startup that haven't been considered before.
Who has been your biggest influence in your life and why?
I have to go with the obvious choice and say my parents. They've consistently supported me, allowing me to follow my passions in my own way, while encouraging me to always strive for excellence.
What is the most exciting or cutting-edge technology you've recently encountered?
As a huge film enthusiast, I'm particularly thrilled about how AI is revolutionizing special effects in movie production. I believe it opens up exciting possibilities for creatives to craft even more immersive and detailed imaginary worlds and stories.
What excites you about working at Bloomhaus?
In my first weeks at Bloomhaus, I quickly realized that even though I am the youngest team member my opinions can have a significant impact on the company's growth and direction. So, I am really excited about learning from my colleagues while also being able to make a difference from day one.
